Land Use/Planning

Position (November 1989)

The League of Women Voters of Montgomery County supports countywide planning, either through Area Planning, shared staff and resources, or separate govenment entities (Advisory Planning), as defined by Indiana statute (IC 36-7-4-100 et seq.) To that end, the League also supports the development of a comprehensive plan for Montgomery County that includes: (1) objectives for future development; (2) policy for land development; and (3) policy for development of public ways, places, lands, structures, and utilities.
